After getting a few tips from my sister’s boyfriend who’s a chef, I was able to make the prettiest and yummiest poached eggs for eggs benedict! I did try to make the poached eggs a few times before, but it is definitely harder than it looks. However, yesterday I was able to find all the ingredients and today was the first day making this gorgeous and yummy dish!
What you need?
Whole Grain English Muffin
Hollandaise sauce mix (or make your own) – link to a recipe here
How to poach the egg!
In a saucepan, bring water to a boil. After you see bubbles, with a wooden spoon create a whirlpool. Then crack egg on a cup and dip it on the water until egg is safely in the middle. If you want your egg runny, remove the egg after 2 minutes.
On a flat iron pan, cook the canadian bacon and add it to the english muffin. Put everything together and pour hollandaise sauce over it!
