Hey guys… I’ve been out for a while but I’m back with amazing photos of my recent design work and with lots of new projects. For now, I’ll just give you an idea of what I’ve been doing. I had my first fashion show this past april 5th in Puerto Rico where I was able to present 12 pieces that I designed and hand-made. The inspiration behind the collection was the concept of a full moon during a summer night in Puerto Rico. The colors were chosen based on the colors that arise when light is hitting water, thus, aqua blues, horizon blues, blacks and whites were the color story of the collection. As for silhouettes, I wanted to go with classic, timeless designs, thus, silhouettes were simple, yet fabrics and certain elements gave a rough character to each piece.

Besides having formal evidence that I actually made a collection entirely by myself, I wanted to create a cohesive portfolio. Instead of just presenting sketches and only one finished look (like we are supposed to do in Parsons for our portfolio class), I wanted to create an entire collection, along with its process. Thus, the purpose of this shoot was to make the portfolio. These are a few of the photos! 😀
